The exhibition in the each gallery space will simultaneously consist of:
-3 to 5 large triangular shaped paintings, all painted by Frankie.
- A live video feed of the voyage will be projected in the gallery.
-The live video feed incorporated into both the Frankie Fever Forever and gallery websites.
-A duplicate of the sculpture that we are to drop in the middle of the triangle on exhibit.
-At the opening of the exhibition I and my sailiors will embark on our voyage and at the end of the exhibition we will release our book of poetry, drawings, photos and a limited edition DVD. The contents of the book would be made by all sailors onboard, collaboratively or alone.
-Some triangle themed artwork done by Patrick Doyle, Erika Somogyi and Bec Stupak, the crew members who are also artists.
I have been making Bermuda Triangle themed work in the form of painting and video for the last two years. I have included some snippets ofvideos related to this theme for you to see, as well as a photos of some of the paintings as examples. The exhibit would potentially have a similar feel although on a much larger scale (larger in every dimension, emotionally-physically).
